Hi @lovemyboys - from the little that you've told us, it seems that your son doesn't exactly wear his heart on his sleeve. Could it be possible that he is feeling a bit embarrassed by his emotional outburst last night and is avoiding you. Perhaps he's a bit exhausted by the ordeal and doesn't want to discuss it.
Maybe he's gone out after work today. Do you know his schedule at all? I can understand that you would be concerned because he left his keys and phone charger at your place. Can you ring the cafe at all if it's still open and ask if he turned up at work?
Just a few thoughts.
