Good ol boundaries @PeppyPatti 

Boundaries are so important to me, especially the ones I set for myself. I find it helps me develop resilience so I'm not always relying on others to stay well. 

It took many years to understand the importance of boundaries, but it's getting easier for me now.

Even on the forums, I have to set boundaries as a way to protect my own mental health if needed. 

Despite how much I love these forums, some things can be triggering, even if they are not heavy by nature.

Have I told you that in the past, a full stop at the end of a sentence was a trigger? So yeah, things like that...(oh, full stops are not a trigger for me anymore).

But yeah, we all need boundaries in some shape or form.

 I can definately see a full stop can be a trigger. 

Without putting myself down I can now be up front and admit that it took many years to step away from my trauma story and feel properly. 

I think I still have a way to go. 

I be think you have more of a grip on feelings .........

@Glisten Funnings, ha ha love it!

 I have had a frustrating day with a young friend who thinks they can hold me to ransom for their friendship. I want to say trust me, you need me more than I need you as they have few if any true friends. To be told by a 20 year old that I need to change my behaviour when they refuse to change their own pessimistic views. 
The other frustration was that I wanted to water my plants and it rained so I couldn't. I prefer the cooler weather but not the rain taking my watering time away!!

How's the new mattress? How are Mac and Lenny?

Good one on the roo paws. I am jelly! I want to go to Trillion Trees and pick up some more natives but I do fear I will go in and buy more than I really need!

I'm off to do some relaxing and praying, my back has been hurting again, wretched thing!

@PeppyPatti Peanut is a naughty boy! Isn't it always the way, you serve them up something and they turn their noses up at it but if it's put somewhere "safe" so they don't eat it they go ahead and do so!

I am feeling sleepy, a combination of pain killers and night medications methinks.

You deserve decent friends - no stress --- 

I have a carer which I think we will work together well. I have no boundaries and when she told me about her 4 year old son, doing it hard with husband who has a business in Tasmania ( love Tasmania ) 

I just tried to make it easier for her and kept on making sure she's listened to at my detriment. Today I said to her I just really need someone to help me clean our unit. So she agreed and Thursday and Friday we are doing it. 

I feel that she is working with me with boundaries !! At last !! She's not taking advantage of me !!

Mac & Lenny have been put to bed in their shed. They like it when it rains hard.

Lenny gets itchy when sprinkles and goes for a roll. He had a long piece of crab grass runner stuck in his mane.

He came up to the fence and waited for me.

I went out and asked him, “Do you want me to get that for you?”

I got hold of the grass runner and he walked backwards to pull it out. Team work 😇

My new mattress is good. My arms don’t fall asleep. Weird sensation having dead  arm.

Tomorrow. Wednesday - that came around fast. Woodwork and more woodwork for me.

I’m going to make hot chocolate and watch Murderbot.
