Re: Christian Chat

Romans 10:13 (NIV)

“For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Small summary:

This verse is about the open invitation of God’s salvation. No matter a person’s past, background, or failures, anyone who sincerely turns to the Lord in faith can receive His mercy and salvation through Christ. 💚

Re: Christian Chat

Hi @DownMoreThanUp ,

I'm really glad you are sharing your story with your wife. I'm glad she is part of this sharing. Or probably I should say I'm glad we are part of this sharing with your wife.

Even in these difficult times I am amazed at the sharing that happens between you and your beautiful wife.

Re: Christian Chat

@DownMoreThanUp brother, please keep tagging me. I am behind on my studies and trying to catch up but I absolutely want to read your posts when I have the opportunity to do so.

I'm still battling a head cold and fatigue as well so I am a little bit slow to reply.

Blessings and love

Re: Christian Chat

Hi @heartathome , @DownMoreThanUp , @Appleblossom , @ENKELI , @tyme , @MissGremlin , @REDLINEZ750 , @Shaz51 ,

Hebrews 6 (followed by Hebrews 7 and 😎

- Let us move on to mature teaching in Christ - not laying again repentance from dead works, faith in God, baptisms, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgement.

- For God is not unjust; He will not forget your work and the love you demonstrated for His Name by serving the saints - and by continuing to serve them.

- Jesus has entered the sanctuary behind the curtain (the Holy of Holies) as a forerunner and become a High Priest according to the order of Melchizedek.

Hebrews 7

- Melchizedek was priest of God Most High and King of Peace.

- Abraham gave Melchizedek a tenth of the spoils from war.

- Without father, mother, genealogy, beginning nor end of days - but resembling the Son of God, Melchizedek remains a priest forever.

- The sons of Levi received the priestly office according to the Law.

- Now if perfection came through the Levitical priesthood there would be no need for another priest to appear.

- Jesus came from the tribe of Judah.

- Another priest like Melchizedek has appeared.

- God said, "You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek."

- So the previous command (the Law) is annulled.

- A better hope is introduced, through which we draw near to God.

- Jesus is a better priest - always alive to intercede, holy, innocent, undefiled, separated from sinners, exalted above the heavens.

- Jesus offered one sacrifice for all time when He offered Himself.

- Jesus, the Son, our new high priest, has been perfected forever.

Hebrews 8

- We have a high priest who is seated at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven.

- Mediator of a better covenant, established on better promises.

- "I will put my laws into their minds, and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people . . . they will all know me, from the least to the greatest of them."

- "For I will forgive their wrongdoing, and I will never again remember their sins."

- This new covenant has made the old covenant - the Law - obsolete.

I love that God has promised to write His laws on our minds and on our hearts. "They will all know me, from the least to the greatest of them." But even better - "I will forgive their wrongdoing, and I will never again remember their sins."  We're spotlessly clean!

Thanks friends i have 6 chapters now. And again see how incredible messy my early life has been and how thankful that Jesus got me through those years without being overcome by all that was happening.

A deep growing thankfulness to Jesus, each chapter written, that is for sure.

Re: Christian Chat

Hi @heartathome , @DownMoreThanUp , @Appleblossom , @ENKELI , @tyme , @MissGremlin , @Shaz51 ,

I just wanted you to know that I will be away visiting family for a couple of days and then Monday will also be busy.

I know my contributions are a bit too scriptural but they're the best I can do at the moment and they keep me in the loop. This thread is important to me.

At the back of my mind I am always thinking about my journey in life and how to share it. I also am thinking about each of you and what I read here in the forums.

May God continue to hold those who are in difficult times.

So fully agree with you about that

@ENKELI @heartathome @AuntGlow @tyme

I found for myself reading The Word Spiritually Chapter 36-48 of Ezekiel not only talks about God giving us a new heart but how Jesus is going to build The Temple He build us in Three days right inside our hearts.

It truly is a purely spiritual revelation the like of the book of Revelation both begin with ultimate vision as beginning.

However the chapters describing the temple is Above all the rest - The Heart of Jesus - i name it reverently  within myself.

Just the wooden alter having living waters stream from underneath shows us The Spirit of God at work. Think about it We are living sacrifices Paul goes, The Temple of The Most High, He goes else Where. And then we find a wooden alter, instead of one of pure gold, as in the past, yet running living waters into our dead and barrenness, although some of that remains the marshes in our lives with Him as Prince and High Priest our most holy sacrifice.

i know i got lots of fish swimming in my once 'deadness' the deepest sea down in my world of being, small and large swimming where once the waters were to bitter to drink, such is the transformation in spirit awaiting all those meeting The Word in their hearts placing their faith in Jesus. Where Jesus turns everything upside down to how it has been.

A spiritual Temple i know but still a meaningful video heeding The Spirit in our hearts reading the ancient words through the life and death of our Lord. (Absolutely love the Prophecy of Ezekiel.)

In this episode, we explore one of the most detailed and mysterious architectural visions recorded in the Bible - the Temple described in Ezekiel chapters 40-48. Unlike any other temple description in Scripture, this vision contains precise measurements, structural layouts, and carefully defined ...

Re: Christian Chat

@Realness I for one am glad for your scriptural posts. This is the only place I am getting the word at the moment so please don't apologise.

I hope all goes well for you while you're away with family, may you have a good time with them.

God bless and prayers

xoxo

Re: Christian Chat

@heartathome @Realness i fully agree with @ENKELI that The Word is always appreciated. However i tend to apply exclusively spiritual. Not that the literal meaning is not true, but it does not begin with flesh but with Spirit, The Spirit of Truth is the One we ought to heed, not the writings of men. Rather The Word itself warns us to be cautious adding Words of 'truth' to The Truth in Revelation 22:18-19.

God's Warning

Genesis 2:17

"but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.

The Eating of The Forbidden Fruit

Genesis 3:6-7

"So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.  Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings."

The Word not  true literally

Genesis 5:5

"So all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years; and he died."

Is God is going to give you a physical heart transplant?

Ezekiel 36:25-27

"Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols.  I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.  I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgements and do them."

Is this what happens when Jesus saves us from our miserable lives and restores us His New? Or do we see people who died still running around in Israel today God's Eternal truth?

Ezekiel 37:11-14

"Then He said to me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They indeed say, ‘Our bones are dry, our hope is lost, and we ourselves are cut off!’  Therefore prophesy and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Behold, O My people, I will open your graves and cause you to come up from your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.  Then you shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O My people, and brought you up from your graves. I will put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I, the Lord, have spoken it and performed it,” says the Lord.’

My life changed for the good heeding Paul and also Jesus to John in Revelation chapters 2 & 3 heeding the Spirit is mentioned Seven times. God's Spirit reading it.My life changed for the good heeding Paul and also Jesus to John in Revelation chapters 2 & 3 heeding the Spirit is mentioned Seven times. God's Spirit reading it.

i have had a massive day. Been hard not to run away with what Jesus showed me about myself in healing. Writing my story and pondering the chapters really helps me so much understanding myself in Him.
