@REDLINEZ750 😂Yeah. I spent a week in Darwin one summer and it was like living in a sauna! The heat was unbearable! The sweat was just dripping off, and people can apparently go 'troppo' in the summer.

Have you ever been to the snow? I haven't but a warm hot chocolate beside a fire sounds nice! I can handle up to around 32 degrees but after that it gets me complaining! 

What happened two years ago? Is that when you had the accident? 

Are you 'couch' surfing or minding people's places or animals or both? It will be a bummer not having your laptop until May. Can you text on the phone? I can only write a sentence on my phone. All the buttons are too small. It takes me ages to text! 

I'm sorry I cut into your banter. I can see how things can get misunderstood so easily. 

Who's looking after Pooky when you go to the 'rehab' place?

I'm all good. I'm a bit anxious about driving in rain today so I hope it holds off till I get home.

I'm back home. My partner has left, and I miss him already @REDLINEZ750 I might see him for a couple of hours over Christmas if they have a family gathering. My son is working on every public holiday over Christmas. Someone is bound to feel sorry for me and invite me somewhere. 😆Otherwise, I will spend it alone, which doesn't really bother me! I'm glad the forum won't be going on holidays over Christmas, though.

The send-off for his brother was special! The siblings took the ashes into the ocean along with white roses. We had different coloured rose petals to throw in the water or scatter on the sand for the oldies.

We all went for lunch at a local pub bistro style. They apparently had a tab at the bar which we weren't aware of. There was $260 left on it when everybody left. They wouldn't return any cash so one sister told them that she'd stay there all night, if she had to, to finish it! 🤭I don't think she'll have to stay that long. 😏 He was a big drinker which attributed to his passing. 😔

I had a cocktail even though I don't usually drink. Bl**** expensive! The girls were happy that I had a drink 'for him'. I don't have a problem with alcohol. Tastes disgusting and I don't like soft drink either. Just give me a coffee! Why did I drink it? Probably for them!  

I'll catch up with you on the other threads, so you don't have to repeat yourself! I didn't want to put this up on What's Been Your Highlight Today! 😆 I don't know anywhere else I could post this kind of thing. It could be triggering (even for you)! And who else would be interested in a detailed story about the sendoff of my partner's brother! No one else has opened up to me like you have and I tend to have trouble trusting people who 'I don't know'.

Does that make sense? 💛

dont think theres much to catch on other threads my dear friend i got on late again i may of posted a few not sure im a bit stunned probably the lack of sleep.

im glad it was memorable farewell its tragic to think of someone living to a ripe old age and not being seen off by many.

hey im not going to be alone i don't think at christmas but im going to be in residential care so i will be alone with people around me i spose 

dinners just being served i be back in a jiffy

yeah its pooks, its good he can get in and out and theres ducted air con my rooms designed to be formal dining area its very big so i needed to make it so my room cant just be entered while im gone and i be putting Seq in here too @heartathome

I'd share a bed with Pooky! 😂 I thought I might sleep in later since my partner's left but I'm still getting up at a ridiculous hour. At least I'm getting some sleep!

@REDLINEZ750 Oh, poor Pooky. He's sulking. 😆 He must have got into big trouble last night! What did he do?

I'm going to see a friend today, pick up my meals for the week and go to the chemist this afternoon.

I put up my Christmas tree last night. I know it's early! I wish I could show you a photo, but my phone isn't synced to my laptop. I needed the memory!

It's 29 degrees today but that's okay for me. I do have my ceiling fan on, though. 💛
