Re: Po

Hey @Appleblossom Thanks for responding and sharing a bit of your childhood. It's people, like you, who are willing to go more than superficial that spark me. Don't get me wrong. I love a light chat, but I can't get to know anyone unless they're willing to open up. Can I ask your rough age and what state you're in? Do you have kids? I guess if I read everything, I'd know. Thanks, about the guard and telling me that you feel connected. That means a lot to me! I'm okay. I'm just having a sad day. 😐

Re: Po

I guess I connected to the land by a few good memories as a kid. @heartathome I didn’t grow up with a garden but love gardening now

I liked being reminded of the 70s and 80s

i gave birth to 2 kids, but raised 3. I guess I didn’t know how to do normal families

we have 2 girl cats

one is sitting with me on my bed at the moment

I am 65 a live in Victoria

Re: Po

sounds like a good spot to cool off  @heartathome,

expressing how your feeling is not having a whinge.not amongst the folk i speak to most days,

i read @AlwaysMyself  i think posted to be kinder to yourself and i concure!

last full moon or one before i stumbled across an eclipse  going outside for a smoke but already taken meds & had to sleep before it done full cycle, saw it half way at least.

enjoying a coffeee and chat is great way to get familiar with some  forumites and hopefully provide  support  and soften your loss of the hub , it certainly helps me on noisy days to know your not judged by the sane community , understanding and support is genuine  which i know takes your own time to figure out  😊

Re: Po

Thanks   @Appleblossom. I'm a 61 model with one boy who's in his thirty's now! I like to listen to my 60's, 70 and 80's music while I play sudoku on my laptop. Having a cat on the bed sounds lovely! I haven't got any animals at the moment but am getting closer to getting a rescue cat. I've got the scratching pole, kitty litter tray and food bowl from the local Opp shop. It's becoming more of a priority these days. I think a small animal will be good for my mental health. A second chance for them as well! 💚

Re: Po

Yeah @REDLINEZ750 My negative voices were having a go, and I was going down a spiral. I'm okay now. Just a sad moment. Thanks for being there! Your support and encouragement are noted! 🙃

Re: Po

Ours were rescue cats. Litter sisters @heartathome we got them in January. Yep, it costs to get set up, including vet etc.

Re: Poem

hey @heartathome i just saw your post now

@REDLINEZ750 @rav3n Do you think I should have a thread for my poems or just put them up anywhere, remembering that they're very raw. I liked the Christian chat. Do we want to go back to that, to post the poems about God or start a new discussion? That would probably be easier. I have a lot of poems about God. I'd like to post 'Inner Child' next, but I don't know where to put it. It's about finding my inner child. I like a sunset, but my OCD doesn't like lots of different colours or being too 'busy'. Talk later.

you are welcome to start your own thread or post in christian chat/other threads. if you prefer having everything in on place, maybe starting a new thread would be easier. but if you prefer sharing it with other spaces based on the poem theme, that works too! completely up to you 💙

also hi @heartathome @REDLINEZ750!! it's lovely seeing you both around 💙

Re: Poem

Thanks @rav3n If I start a New Discussion, will it keep me on the same thread. Is this what I'm supposed to be doing. I always think it's rude to interrupt a conversation or do I just use the Reply button to say something that's not related to the previous post? I don't know. 🤔

it's not rude at all to jump into convos here, that's how our forums work! the next post doesn't always have to be relevant to the previous one 😊 as long as you're tagging the person you are replying to, it'll make sense.

so if you want to stay in the same thread but share a new topic of discussion, you are welcome to do that any time @heartathome it won't be rude at all. really appreciate your kindness in asking!
