Somedays when it feels like everything is too much I like to do things outside or go into my shed, there id usually something to work on in there it doesn’t fix everything but it clears my head and helps me relax (unless I’m working on my car)
What do you do when life feels heavy?

I am similar @ArraDreaming I often do practical things to work through my emotions. A long time ago, I did do some motor mechanics lol. These days it’s more likely to be cooking or gardening.
Though I do read and do music, which helps also.
The book I have been reading this morning is called The Smell of Rain on Dust by Martin Prechtel, a first nations person from the not so United States. It’s a different mindset for me but I feel it is good for me.

@Appleblossom @ArraDreaming its great that you have things to turn too. No they might not help with everything, but can help a lot in the moment.
I would normally choose to cook or read something or if I needed to keep my hands busy, do a jigsaw. I find these can help me in the moment.
