@DownMoreThanUp yes this is another one of my favourites from Casting Crowns! And I love Matthew West too! 

I struggled this morning with my devotion time as I was distracted and getting anxiety. It's happened often enough and been revealed to me that Satan likes to play dirty when you are drawing nearer to God. I had several years where my relationship with Jesus was tepid and Satan was able to distract me so it's a pattern I recognise. Once I tell him where to go - literally! - he backs off and remembers my house is blessed by the Blood of the Lamb.

I started to list my favourite musicians and bands but realised there are too many to list on one post!

Wayne Watson is one singer I really like, his self titled album has some beautiful songs on it, like Merciful Heaven, Trust in You and Blood of Jesus, as well as this one -

i said good morning to Jesus just before and also to you dear family. How are things on your side of the woods? i slept 5 hours in my first sleep last night, and am very happy with that achievement. Praising our Heavenly Father for His mercies this morning again!

@ENKELI Yes Casting Crown is good! i love their name as well.  For i know meeting Jesus in His greatness has us flat on the floor, thinking we will surely die His love over us. Not caring one bit if our flesh rots off us right there and then as long as we remain in His love! (True story!😍😍😍)

@DownMoreThanUp I also say good morning to Jesus when I fist wake up.

When I lived with ex friend I had a "God spot", it was a spot on the lawn under the mango tree in the back yard where I would sit with my Bible and talk to God. I haven't got a specific spot in my home but whenever I am tending to my plants I will ask Jesus to put on my heart what He desires of me, as well as friends who may need special prayers.

With the weather being so miserable of late I haven't been able to spend time with my plants and I know it is detrimental to my spiritual health.
I am studying the gospel of Mark at the moment aside from my daily Bible study.

A while back I think I mentioned that I have a book of names of people I pray for regularly and @avant-garde @Appleblossom @tyme @Shaz51 you are all in it.

If you ever need specific prayer please let me know and I will add the request.
