I agree with you @REDLINEZ750 This forum is a real-life example of healthy love and support!
I hope I don't stuff it up by being too blunt. 😁 I'm trying to tame my words and how they can come across. It seems like a fine line to me. My psych told me, a few months into therapy, that I didn't need to say everything I think and it's not what I say but how I say it! It was the first time I'd ever heard of such a thing. I'm pretty good these days but if my anxiety gets too much or I feel overwhelmed, my 'bluntness' tends to come out!
I'm glad your session was good. Was it one on one or the group? My group session is on tomorrow afternoon. Laughing and crying are great. Both are needed! Rage not so much. That only complicates things!
My cuppa was great. I had an affogato which is straight coffee poured over ice-cream. Yum! My elderly friend told us the same stories again, but it was lovely to see her face brighten as she was telling us! We're hearing all her stories of the local 'olden days' which is nice.
I'll tell you a story about me skydiving back in the 80's. My son's father was the drop zone pilot, so I used to go out every weekend, at one stage. My skydiving was disastrous! The first time I did it, they had to kick me off the plane because I 'couldn't' let go! 🤭 I've nearly hit a shed. Another time I landed on a plane (on the ground) and the owner wasn't impressed. They suggested that I take up golf! 😆I did do a jump with two instructors from 11,000 feet and went straight into the foetal position. Thankfully, they could catch up to me and stabilise me, reminding me of the position I needed to take. I did skydiving to help my fear of heights. Talk about going to extremes! It didn't help! I still have a fear of heights. 😂

your crazy no one could convince me jump out a perfectly good plane @heartathome
im thinking i should not of posted last few nights aye, i don't want to apologise when i don't know what it was coz it will look like I'm just saying it and would cause more harm than good.
i might be underestimating thinking its just one thing even
forum gets a break tomorrow morning which will be good for the threads, im ok with that truth
when i come back on i will be more mindful and a lot less abrasive
never seen a sign of blunt from you onnce @heartathome

No. You have nothing to apologise for! I'm glad you've been on and whatever you said was only against yourself! It lets me know what's happening for you at that particular time. You haven't upset me in any way. Do you want me to find it and tag you? I don't want you to go away thinking about the post.
I think you called yourself 'weak as piss' and I disagreed! My Mumma bear comes out when you're hard on yourself because you and that boy inside deserve to be nurtured and loved! Who else is going to do it? When you look in the mirror, can you tell yourself that you love you? I've never got that far 😉 (as yet) but I can now look in the mirror and tell myself that I'm okay (as a person). Better than hating myself! Huge!
Everyone that knows you is going to miss your presence! You know that don't you? I will certainly miss our chats! You haven't seen any bluntness from me, and I haven't seen any abrasive posts from you! Good! I guess we're both still learning and I think we're doing a bl**** good job! 💛
