Introducing myself (trigger warning)

Sorry I just realised I should introduce myself.

I'm 55yrs young just recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder. 2025  Not sure yet if its 1 or 2

November last year 2024 was diagnosed with ptsd, anxiety and depression.

All this has started due to my brother. Doing wrong by me since  my mother and fathers health deteriorated

My father passed away August 2023. Then mum was placed in a nursing home same month.

He is wanting everything for himself financially. He has turned family and friends against me, all I have is just my husband.

My memory is poor and concentration is difficult.

I have had problems with S***H*** when things get bad I have had to go to the ED.

Am seeing physcologist & physciatrist. Have been put on mood stabilzer and antichycotic tablets. 

This is all foreign  to me.

I hope by joining this site I will learn alot.

At times I don't know who I can speak to if I need support..

Welcome @Abby6_2025 , im glad you've reached out.

A number of people here have experience with bipolar, anxiety, depression, medications, SH, and family challenges.

Myself, I have chronic depression with SI. So i understand the depression side of things often, and to a degree the SH. I did SH as a teenager, but was able to stop many years ago.
